John Tessier, MD
Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. John Tessier is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon who has been in the private practice of Orthopedic Surgery in Saint Louis for over 30 years. His special interests include medical and surgical treatment of adult arthritis with extensive expertise in hip/knee reconstructive surgery. Dr. Tessier also performs partial knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff surgery and sports medicine. He has numerous medical publications, board appointments and orthopedic presentations. He is consistently recognized in “The Best Doctors in America” list. Dr. Tessier has been involved with international medical volunteerism since 1972. He has worked with Operation Walk/Freedom to Move in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He serves as founder/medical director of the (ILAC) Institute of Latin American Concern Medical Mission Prosthetic Lab in that same location.
